Donate now to support the Antique Pattern Library project to pay for such things as database and website development, web hosting costs, data entry, scanning equipment, and help us meet the public funding ratio, which allows us to keep our nonprofit status, making your donations tax-deductible, depending on where you live and on the local tax laws and tax treaties.
If you can’t afford to give anything, which also happens in these difficult times, introducing the Library to people who don’t know of it yet, is very useful, since it broadens our user base and therefore also our donor base.

L-II004 Vannini – Lavoro Assisiano No. 1
Oblong stapled softcover booklet. Cover, four text pages, 12 plates. Voided embroidery aka Assisi embroidery, small motifs, border designs and corner designs for tablecloths, towels and similar linens.
Donated by Iva Innocenti, edited by Sytske Wijnsma.
Every year from September to the beginning of January, we hold a fundraising campaign for the Antique Pattern Library and more generally, for New Media Arts Inc., the charity that runs the Library. We aim for 6000 per year, don’t always make it, but so far the donations have kept APL afloat.
If you want to be really really generous, please contact us ahead of time: due to IRS rules about what is public support and what isn’t, donations of more than 1500 USD might actually not be counted as support. But if you want to donate a few million, we’re of course not saying no 🙂
That said, the bulk of our donations are those of the small donors, up from 1 USD, and we are very, very grateful for those, remembering the tale of the widows mite.
