G-AS001 Woolwork sampler 1894 L.S. Blijdorp
Photographs of an old Dutch woolwork sampler, with 34 pattern samples, a border with flowers and leaves, and a border in red backstitches. Dated 1894 on the sampler and named as by L.S. Blijdorp. Some of the patterns were evidently popular as they recur in other Dutch samplers around that time.
Images donated by ebay seller antiquesamplershop, edited by Sytske Wijnsma, not charted yet

G-AA011 Faudel Phillips & Son London – Various repeating motifs
Small handpainted chart, glued on grey cardboard, with several small repeating motifs in green, orange, blue, and shades of grey.
Images donated by ebay seller amgarchive, edited and charted by Sytske Wijnsma.

F-IS046 Heinrich Kuehn 14253 – Corner design with rose garlands and yellow flowers
Handpainted Berlin woolwork pattern, a wide corner design with a narrow geometric border, then yellow flowers, and within that rose garlands with green leaves. The design is not entirely clear how the edge should continue, that was probably left to the fantasy of the user. Possibly intended for a centerpiece.
Scans donated by Jackie Isler, from the collection of her grandmother Helen Balmat Gorman, edited and charted by Sytske Wijnsma.

C-PR006 Sajou – Dessins de Broderies Album No. 457
Blue cover leporello with 8 pages, all landscape. Three alphabets, in three different sizes. All missing J and W as usual in that time.
Scans donated by Priscilla Cailly, edited and charted by Sytske Wijnsma

A-MH091 Journal des Demoiselles – Round pattern in blue, red, gold, brown and black
Supplement from the 17th year of Journal des Demoiselles. A round pattern printed on cream cardboard. A red border with a gold and black chain design, and the center with blue and brown curlicues outlined in black and gold. The background color was not given but might be white. The pattern looks symmetrical but isn’t. It would be suitable for a round decorative pillow cover or table center. It’s probably too large for a hot plate if done in beadwork.
From the collection of Marleen van Horssen, edited and charted by Sytske Wijnsma.
