N-LP003 Two pages of A Manual of Fancy Work
A single sheet, containing two pages of A Manual of Fancy Work, but no other indication given as to date and publisher. Page 2 concerns Luster and Kensington Painting, page 3 The Art of Kensington Embroidery and the Colors of the Different Flowers: a decription of stitches, and a list of colors of flowers, ferns, grasses, etc.
Original is severely browned, and the page numbering is strange, usually 2 and 3 wouldn’t be a single sheet.

Sewing machine manual for the Davis “Advance” sewing machine. 24 pages not including covers. Back cover missing. Description of various versions of the sewing machine, from simple walnut table to table with drop leaf and six drawers. Description of sewing feet peculiar to this machine, testimonials from users and a page about how this machine never needs a holiday and never is sick.
