Handpainted square embroidery pattern on grey paper. Nine colors, no indication which colors were intended to be wool and which Filoselle, probably the yellow and white colors judging from similar embroideries. Beading would also be great for accents. The pattern is symmetrical, but shown complete.

Hardcover folder with two textbooks and 24 plates of antique Italian embroideries, numbered 1 to 30. Some plates are double size and have a double number, one is triple size and a double number. Textbooks explain several stitches and give suggestions for use of the patterns, as well as origin of the patterns and a hundred German sayings to emploi in embroideries.
