Antique purse beaded with a all-over tapestry pattern. Dimensions as given by seller: The handle chain measures about 20”. From the top of the handle to the bottom of the fringe is about 10 1/2” and it’s about 7” across. Color choices of the chart might not be completely accurate.

Seen on the Catawiki auction website, a fragment of beautiful antique woolwork embroidery, photographs clear enough to chart. There was no way to contact the seller elegantiques of Europe, so no permission to show the photographs except a fair-use thumbnail. A wide border suitable for use in furniture covering and decorative pillows, maybe also as belt for clothing.

Fragment of a Berlin woolwork pattern, handpainted on grey cardboard. Three small motifs of flower garlands, each approximately 30 by 30 stitches. One of forget-me-nots, one of three roses and some forget-me-nots, and one of undetermined flowers in red, pink, and blue.

A-MH163 Magasin des Demoiselles – Quart pattern in gold, red, brown and blue
Single sheet, printed pattern on cream paper. Quart of a design with crossing diagonal lines in blue and dark brown, outlined in brown and off-white, framed by a red meander design. In the diamonds formed by the crossing lines small motifs in backstitch.
